Awesome Awards

January 16, 2010

I recently received these awards from two terrific bloggers:

Honest Scrap Award from Lovely Miss Lucy at Delightful Reviews — Lucy has a gorgeous blog, and I love her eloquent, heartfelt reviews. I posted 10 Random Things About Me HERE

One Lovely Blog Award from Athira at Books on a Rainy Day — Books on a Rainy Day has been one of my most exciting new finds lately. Her blog is unique and beautiful, and she’s a  terrific reviewer.

The rules are:

Accept the award, and post it on your blog together with the name of the person who has granted the award and his/her blog link. Pass the award to 5 other blogs that you’ve newly discovered.

I’d like to pass this award on to five six awesome blogs I’ve recently found:

  1. The Curriculum of Love – I’ve known Sara, as a cyber-acquaintance, for a long time, but this blog is new to me. I love her thoughtful posts about homeschooling, parenting, and living more simply and sustainably. And I get the BEST kids’ book recommendations from her!
  2. Tea Time With Marce – How could I not love a lady who is crazy about books AND Earl Grey tea? Marce has eclectic reading tastes, and I have been enjoying her reviews and other book posts.
  3. Steph the Bookworm – Steph is another eclectic reader, and she’s quickly become one of my favorite book bloggers.
  4. Once Upon a Book Blog/Fourteen Years – I know Robby has already received this award, but you can never have too much blog love. 😉 I’ve recently become a follower, and he has quickly become someone I really look forward to visiting in cyberspace. At fourteen, he is a musician, a poet, AND a prolific reader. I thoroughly enjoy his reviews of YA novels, and I also get snippets of his 3-D life. He seems like a person who’s well worth knowing.
  5. I Swim for Oceans – Melissa is a fairly new book blogger, and she has hit the ground running — what a terrific weblog! She also leaves regular comments here, which always lifts my spirits.
  6. Delightful Reviews – Is this a gorgeous blog, or what? Lucy (not her real name) is 16 (I think). She has an amazing book review blog and she writes, draws, and is into anime. Even though I’m in a different generation, she seems like somebody I’d like to hang out with. 😉
