A Few Random Thoughts

• We did make time to watch two movies tonight: Fantastic Mr. Fox and The Blind Side. I wanted to see Sandra Bullock earning that Oscar. 😉 I give a thumbs up to both movies.
• I am thinking that our neighbors in Canada must find all the angst and hoopla over the signing of a somewhat watered down public health care bill to be very funny. Universal health care exists, in some form, in most Western democracies. It’s not like we’re jumping into something untried.
• Is anybody really that bent out of shape over the vice president saying “f–k?” I imagine most politicians do, not unlike 95% of the rest of the population. Holy cats! I cam glad nobody ever brings an open mike into this house. If I had $10 for every time somebody dropped “the F bomb” around here, I suspect my kids’ college education would be paid for.
